From disconnected tools to one system that runs the shop
A Charlotte manufacturer was running the shop on separate tools that never talked to each other. One custom ERP now handles quoting, orders, purchasing, inventory, production, and shipping, with QuickBooks, Google, UPS, and FedEx wired in.
The problem
A small manufacturer in Charlotte was juggling separate, disconnected software for every part of the operation. Quotes lived in one place, orders in another, inventory in a spreadsheet, and management numbers were assembled by hand at the end of every month.
What I built
A custom ERP that handles quoting, customer orders, purchasing, inventory, production routing, live production boards, and shipping in one connected system, with real-time updates on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
QuickBooks integration sends orders and purchase orders and posts BOM-driven cost of goods adjustments automatically. Google integration emails quotes and drives CRM tasks and follow-ups. UPS and FedEx integrations run the shipping desk, and a tailored reporting suite gives management the numbers they used to assemble by hand.
Results
The base product was live and taking orders six weeks after kickoff. Six months in, the full system was running the shop day to day, and the whole thing hosts on AWS for under ten dollars a month.
